We highly recommend FinePrint - Makes what the Windows Print Manager should be and stabilizes printer drivers.   MapleSoft programs love to print through Fineprint.

Internet Tips

To keep yourself safe from viruses, make sure you install a good anti-virus program such as Mcafee, Symantec or AVG.  Keep it up to date at least every month, if not weekly or daily.  Also to keep youself protected while you surf the net, make sure you have a firewall installed such as ZoneAlarm.  To protect your children, install a filtering program such as we-blocker.  When it comes to email, it is very important to follow a few simple rules, because a lot of viruses and trojan horses will come through your email even if you don't open a file attachment.   Rule #1:  Keep your preview window closed, so that you manually have to open an e-mail.  This gives you the choice of opening or not opening an email that might have a virus.  If you are not sure, don't open it.  Some viruses can launch just by having the preview window open.  Rule #2:  Don't open emails with file attachments, unless you communicate with the sender to verify the file attachment.   Most viruses that come as file attachments will come from somebody you know, so don't open an email attachment, unless you REALLY know.   Rule #3:  Keep your interenet browser, email client and operating system up to date with security patches.  If you are using Windows, you can startup Internet Explorer and go to the Tools menu and choose "Windows Update" to update your system. Personally I like the "Firefox webbrowser" mentioned above, because its so fast and you can use it for free.
